They Hate Trump, but They’re the Ones Keeping Him Relevant

I get news alerts from the Washington Post. Every single alert announcing a primary election result this week indicated whether Donald Trump had endorsed the winner.

I don’t subscribe to WaPo, so I don’t have access to the full text of these articles to evaluate them. But I think most of the people in those districts would tell you that these elections are not about Donald Trump.

Rather, the elections are about the citizens of those districts, about the things that are affecting their lives — like inflation, skyrocketing gas prices, crime, and baby formula.

The media’s hatred of Trump is obsessive. It’s damaging the country, but I don’t think it’s really hurting Trump as much as they’d like.

My mom always told me that if I didn’t like someone, the smartest thing to do is ignore them. Chances are, they won’t notice, but if they do, it will likely frustrate them more than anything else I could do, and therefore be more effective.
