A recent news report told of a man that got involved in a road rage incident and tried to just drive away. The other driver followed him. He went home and got out of his car. The other driver shot and killed him before speeding off.

In another recent news report, two women were followed home after an evening out. One was able to escape; the other was raped and murdered.

If someone is following you, don’t go home.

Instead, go to the nearest police station.

Chances are, just pulling into the police station’s parking lot will prompt potential assailants to rethink their plans. And if it doesn’t, you’ve got police officers quickly available for assistance.

Do you know where the police station nearest to your home is? If you don’t, find out. And if you suspect someone is following you, go there instead of home. It could save your life.
