I disagree with compulsory voting. If people don't care enough to educate themselves on candidates and issues and voluntarily go to the polls, they don't need to be voting. That's why low voter turnout has never bothered me.

Certainly we have issues with our two-party system that could be better, but my point was that we shouldn't not vote the way we want just because it's likely that we're on the losing side. No vote is ever wasted.
